About Mostly Mountains Photography and Jimmy

I cannot think of anything better than packing a bag, throwing it on my back and hiking into the hills for a night or two.  The indescribable beauty, the fresh mountain air, and the peace. These are some of the things that come without phone or internet distractions.   Add them to pristine alpine streams and clear night skies and an experience is created that many of us don’t get enough of in this modern digital age.

I have been in British Columbia for 12 years and my passion and love for this place has never been stronger.  It feels like I have only scratched, barely scratched the surface of what this beautiful Canadian province has to offer.

I am originally from a small country town in New South Wales, Australia.  Growing up in the country is where I gained an appreciation for the outdoors.  At an early age, I used to head out on horse treks, camping, with my family.
